The battle beyond time of 50
years begins in a mystic island!
The locale of the fourth InuYasha movie is a
mystic island named "Hourai Island" that emerges once in
decades. Since InuYasha met a half-demon girl, Ai, who got
away from the island that a brother called
Shitoushin has ruled, he goes to the island. In fact that he
visited there with Kikyo 50 years ago, in the
island that he visits again, he comes across a person looking
like Kikyo...
"In this movie, I want audiences to focus
on six half-demon children," said Director
Toshiya Shinohara.
"We have drawn a motion of each child's
heart carefully. How InuYasha does about it is
also the highlight."
It sounds that we can see InuYash's attitude
different from his usual selfish one. "I
think that the audiences
can watch dependable and heroic InuYasha from
kids' point of view. Also in movie 4, though the
number
of the characters, in addition that as many as
four enemies appear, is large, we made many
variations in
methods of attacks of the enemy characters; for
example, using flame and using water. We want the
audiences to take notice of the action scenes, that is, how
InuYasha fights against
Shitoushin."
This InuYasha group's new journey is the first
animated story after the end of the TV series. If

unable to graduate from InuYasha, let's go to the

Ai (藍) A half-demon girl,
youngest among the children. She gets away from
Hourai Island, then asks
InuYasha for help.
Shion (紫苑) A boy of the same age as
Dai and Roku. He is coward a bit. But
encountering InuYasha,
he grows up little by little.
Asagi (浅葱) The eldest girl
among the six half-demon children. Having a
strong sense of responsibility,
she believes to have to guard the infant
children.
Dai (橙) Roku's twin boy. Being naughty
and a little cheeky, he teases InuYasha to
squabble.
Roku (緑) Dai's twin boy.
Similar also in character to Dai, he teases
InuYasha with Dai to get a blow
on the head.
Moegi (萌黄) A quiet
half-demon girl. She has a detailed knowledge of
Hourai Island enough to tell
Kagome and InuYasha information about the island.

Jura (獣羅) Shitoushin's
third brother with white eyes. He fights with a
weapon called Saitenhou to sending
shells. He has a violent and aggressive temper.
Kyora (凶羅) Shitoushin's
second brother. He handles a weapon named
KouJakukisen to battle with
controlling a flaming bird. Although speaking
politely, he has a cruel atmosphere.
Ryura (龍羅) Shitoushin's
eldest brother with blue eyes, the leader ruling
Hourai Island. Using two swords
called Huzinga and Raijinga, he bears down
InuYasha. |
