Animazement announced on January 3 that they invited Satsuki Yukino, a voice actress as Kagome Higurashi, Michihiko Suwa, the Yomiuri TV producer, Kikuko Inoue, a voice actress as Kasumi Tendo from Ranma 1/2, and Akira Kamiya, a voice actor of Shutaro Mendo from Urusei Yatsura, to Animazement 2007 as guests of honor. It is Yukino's first visit to anime conventions in the US.
Animazement 2007 is scheduled to be held in Durham, NC on May 25-27.

12/21/06: One Pound Gospel series ends
On December 21, the finale of the One Pound Gospel series that started in 1987 appeared in Young Sunday #3-4 (double issue). Considering Takahashi seemed to be unmotivated to continue the series, the webmaster is glad that it could finish with a happy ending. But the webmaster wishes it continue a bit longer.
